About the event

Organising an event is never a small feat, especially when life, in all its fullness, runs alongside: work commitments, the need for rest, the quiet demands of personal time. After the first burst of energy, we found ourselves pausing, breathing, listening. And in that stillness, a thought returned: What if we just slow down… and read again?

And so, after a meaningful break, the second edition of Threads Reads was born, not rushed, not grand, but grounded and gentle. It wasn’t just a reading circle; it became a space where stories could breathe and people could simply be.

What started as an experiment slowly wove itself into something larger, a gathering that felt like a shared sigh of relief. In time, it found a name that felt just right: Offline Hours, our flagship event, where the world slows down and the pages turn quietly among friends.

In retrospect, this edition wasn’t just another event. It was a reminder: sometimes, the most powerful connections happen not when we run fast, but when we allow ourselves to linger, to read, to rest, and to return.
