About the event

There are moments when cinema doesn’t just entertain, it lingers, stirs, and speaks to the deeper questions of our time. During Valentine’s week, we gathered not just to watch a film, but to feel, reflect, and connect. The movie Her, a tender and haunting tale directed by Spike Jonze, became our shared lens into the complex worlds of love, longing, and the shifting boundaries between humanity and artificial intelligence.

In the soft glow of the screen, we witnessed a story unfold, a man falling in love with an operating system, and in doing so, discovering truths about loneliness, vulnerability, and the very nature of connection. And when the film faded to black, our conversations lit up. We spoke of intimacy in the digital age, of machines mimicking emotion, of how close, or far, we are from such realities.

It was more than just a film screening. It was a gentle pause in time, where hearts and minds opened up, and we allowed ourselves to wonder: What does it mean to love, in a world constantly changing?

In the end, Her didn’t just stay on screen. It stayed with us.
